TL;DR post about incidents that have nothing to do with me

I feel the need to say something because the support for this on tumblr has been unreal and I don’t understand how easily people can sweep such deplorable actions under the proverbial rug for the sake of a stupid song. 

The point of the anger is not that they’re collaborating on a sexually explicit song. The point of the anger is he beat her a relatively short time ago and he showed little, if any true remorse after almost beating her to death.

I leave any comments on Rihanna out because I understand that it’s very easy to fall into a pattern of abuse and therefore I do not fault her. Also, I do not know her thoughts and rationalizations on this collaboration so I refuse to comment any further on that.  I do however, direct all my anger to Brown, as he should know better. You NEVER, EVER resort to violence. EVER. ESPECIALLY not towards someone who is obviously weaker than you. 

Yes, one can be forgiven for this type of abuse, but I personally believe he should show at least some remorse for his actions first before he is rewarded for any future endeavors. Instead, he’s being treated like a king and being showered with golden awards and patted on the head like everything’s okay now, without so much as anything more than a slight slap on the wrist.  I’m scared for that poor girl who is allegedly dating him right now. How anyone can begin dating someone with a past history like that is beyond me. I only pray she does not suffer under the same hand as Rihanna did. 

Yes, tumblr twats. Continue your exuberant support for this “man.” (He’s not a real man, since real men don’t beat women.)  Have fun not giving fucks and supporting domestic abusers. I am glad you can sleep well at night knowing full well your support for remorseless pieces of shit.
